Rick Abel has enjoyed a career in Information Technology that spans four decades, the last 30 years of which were spent in senior leadership roles.
Most recently, Rick served as Vice President in various technology roles for TrueBlue, Inc, a global leader in the recruitment and staffing industry. In his role as VP, Technology for TrueBlue's PeopleScout division, Rick led the effort to build Affinix, PeopleScout's proprietary talent technology. Prior to his time at TrueBlue, Rick was Partner and Chief Technology Officer at Spencer Stuart, one of the world's premiere executive search firms. As CTO, Rick had global responsibility for all aspects of Spencer Stuart's technology, including software development, infrastructure, information security and customer support. Rick retired in 2020 but continues to provide strategic technology guidance through his consulting practice. He also remains engaged with his network of IT professionals, offering mentorship and advice on business, technology, and leadership issues. |
